The vehicle was already completely restored once, including a new two-tone paintjob in white/beige; it only has slight wear and partly beautiful patina. It was regularly driven and maintained. It accompanied many young couples into married life, probably an unforgettable moment for all newlyweds.

During this time, the T1 was regularly serviced. The engine starts immediately, even after standing for a longer period, and it runs very well, the transmission shifts smoothly.

The T1 was built on 13 September 1966 with the official sales designation VW minibus, special model “Sambabus”.
It was first delivered in Los Angeles (USA), just in time to experience the Flower Power period. The vehicle was produced in Germany. Officially, this vehicle is registered with 7 seats.

One notable feature of this T1 is that it has individual front seats and a central passage to the rear cabin. This is very rare!

The T1 has German papers and a classic car license plate (H-plate).
