Description

- Porsche-Powered 3.2L Flat Six Samba - 5-Speed Porsche 915 Gearbox & Disc Brakes - Genuine 16” Fuchs Wheels & Lowered Suspension - Full-Length Webasto Sunroof & Custom Roof Rack - Bespoke Interior with Hidden Audio, LCD, DVD & Console - Built by Creative Coachworks – 6-Page Ultra VW Feature This isn’t your average split-screen bus. This is a fully reimagined 21-window Samba, built from the ground up to combine iconic VW charm with the heart and soul of a Porsche. Every inch of this creation has been carefully crafted for performance, presence, and pure enjoyment on the road. Commissioned by an enthusiast with a clear vision, the brief was ambitious: a Samba that could cruise the Autobahn at triple-digit speeds, with Porsche power, a five-speed gearbox, and the luxury and comfort of a true grand tourer. Creative Coachworks took the challenge and delivered something truly exceptional. Under the engine bay sits a 3.2L flat-six from a mid-’80s Porsche Carrera, mated to a Porsche 915 five-speed gearbox. To make it all work, the chassis was extensively reengineered — narrowed torsion tubes, custom coilover suspension, and upgraded Porsche disc brakes. The bus now drives with confidence, agility, and power that puts it in a league of its own. The body was stripped to bare metal, chemically cleaned, and electrophoretically coated before being painted in a striking yet subtle Nissan Pearl White and Peugeot Mica Black. Chrome was largely deleted for a cleaner, more modern look. Genuine 16-inch Fuchs wheels wrapped in Continental tyres give it just the right stance, and a 911-header-based custom exhaust system delivers a rich, purposeful tone. Inside, the transformation continues. The cabin is fully custom, trimmed to an exceptional standard with no bare metal in sight. A discreetly integrated roll cage adds safety without spoiling the style. Entertainment is seamlessly blended in, with a hidden audio system, LCD flatscreen, games console, and DVD player — all tucked into custom interior panels. Letting light and air into the cabin is a full-length Webasto sunroof, beautifully installed. A recently fitted custom roof rack adds character and utility, while new glass from A.H. Schofield, tinted by Sterling Windows, complements the clean exterior lines. All seals are brand new, and even a removable tow bar was added for practicality. This Samba isn’t just for show — it was remapped and rolling-road tuned for real-world performance. It’s been featured in a six-page spread in Ultra VW magazine, and it’s every bit as impressive in person as it is in print. Now road-ready and looking for its next chapter, this Porsche-powered Samba is a truly rare opportunity to own a show-quality, high-performance classic with real heritage and head-turning charisma.
