- 21 windows, topless!
- Improved mechanicals
- In beautiful condition

Launched in 1950, the VW Combi evolved from a revolutionary concept to a true icon that has become a myth over the years. The car on offer is from the first generation called T1. This is a particularly interesting and sought-after version, very bright thanks to its 21 windows and large sunroof. Prior to its purchase in the Netherlands, this Combi benefited from an extensive restoration. The body is in sound condition and features a nice almond green and white livery, matched to its restored upholstery. The hood was also redone and is in good condition. An old repair on the left rear wheel arch should be noted. The mechanicals, with two Weber carburettors, a flat belt alternator drive kit and a stainless steel exhaust works well and is a little bit more powerfull. An expertise report from 2018 indicates that the gearbox has been replaced and modified with a cardan system. This is a common adaptation for a more enjoyable usage. The Hankook whitewall tyres show little wear. Regularly used and with some significant improvements, it is a much sought-after collector's item that will take you on dream road trips, with family or friends.
