Description

- Ausnahmefahrzeug
- Nahezu unberührt
- Geringe Laufleistung

Beschreibung:

- Outstanding condition

Description:

In 1957 Volkswagen introduced the convertible version of the Type 14. The convertible top is of very high quality and sets standards in processing, material and low noise. In contrast to the Beetle Cabriolet, it is almost completely flush with the body line and gives the convertible an extremely elegant appearance. Exterior changes in 1961 included wider and finned front grilles, taller and more rounded rear taillights and headlights relocated to a higher position. 466.856 examples of the Type 14 were built from 1955 to 1974 and just 81.053 convertibles.
The Karmann Ghia Type 14 presented here was delivered to the USA and returned to Germany in 2014. Based on its untouched body, the vehicle was carefully partially restored and the paint was renewed in the original colour on the bare shell. The underbody of the car was ice cleaned. The original total mileage is just 70.000 miles.
A rare opportunity to acquire a nearly untouched vehicle with a beautiful colour combination in an outstanding condition.
