Great Golf 1.8 with 66 kW (= 90 hp) that drives exceptionally well. It still looks stunning and it is a great youngtimer, which still attracts just as much attention and drives just as wonderfully as when it was new. It is neatly maintained and the original maintenance booklets are available as well. It has some signs of wear, please see the photos.
The Dutch periodic vehicle inspection is valid until May 11, 2024.

The car was originally delivered new in the Netherlands, so it has a Dutch registration, and can be delivered with EU export papers on request and at no extra cost, so that a possible foreign new owner can easily register the convertible.

The color is very nice. VW calls it "Midnight blue". Some spots have been repainted in a non-professional manner. This still needs some attention, just like parts of the underside. The interior looks clean with some signs of wear. Important : The hood is recently renewed and of the insulated type, in beautiful linen finish, manually operated.

Beautiful BBS rims with good tyres. The alarm has been released. It flashes occasionally so it needs to be looked at. This does not impact its ability to drive, which is fine.
The relatively very low mileage is fully demonstrable through RDW registration.

The car drives fine, starts, brakes and shifts fine, without anything to note in particular.

In short, a lovely modern classic that drives fine and has lots of appeal at an affordable price.

The seller can arrange relatively inexpensive transport throughout the EU. Even during the current coronavirus crisis, worldwide transport is no problem at all as this will be carried out by a professional transport company.

Foreign buyers can also pick the car up in person here in Hengevelde, and drive back home throughout virtually all of Europe with a temporary export registration number for an additional charge of €350. This official registration number is valid for 15 days and is all-in, so insurance and road tax are included (tolls are not, however).
