This fantastic 1973 Volvo P1800 ES has had a recently been overhauled and fully ‘Body-Off’ restored. This was no cost spared effort. The engine, transmission, total drive-train, suspension and rear axle were amongst the items attended to with nothing left to give a nasty surprise at a later date. The whole process was recorded with 100’s of photos, invoices and a printed photo album. The car has fantastic bodywork with straight and particularly well fitted body panels. The wonderful quality of the paintwork exudes a lovely lustre. The quality of the underbody also does not disappoint. The ‘California White’ finish with a blue leather interior trim was only available in 1973. The interior trim is in the same high quality condition as the rest of the car. The ES was a very luxurious edition with overdrive, safety steering column, automatic recoiling seatbelts, electronic injection, rear screen heating, tinted screens and power-assisted disc brakes all around. It has the powerful and utmost reliable 135 Hp B20E injection engine. The manual 4-speed has the aforementioned overdrive. This car is perfect in every aspect. In short it is a concourse condition Volvo P1800 ES!`
