In first instance this was in preparation for the “Indian Trail”, a 15,000 km Panama to Alaska rally! Both car and owner competed in this rally with succes! This Volvo 142 has a superbly sound rust-free base. The previous owner wrapped the in the Swedish colours, underneath the wrap the mouse grey paintwork has been very neatly preserved! The bodywork is very sound, rust-free with correctly aligned body panels. 20,000 km ago the whole engine was rebuilt! Invoices are available for inspection. The car also sports an ‘Overdrive” gearbox, variable electronic power steering, fog lamps, period sports seats with matching seatbelts and a sunroof amongst other items!
