The bodywork was completely restored between 2018/2019. Engine taken care of in 2020: the B20 engine block was completely overhauled, all hoses and connections were renewed and a new electric ignition was fitted. Photos are available of both jobs being carried out.

The car was addressed by three specialized classic Volvo garages. The body was stripped and new rubbers, new decorative strips, etc, were fitted. The car has no rust! The inside was addressed with new wiring, new Volvo floor mats, new headliner. No damage inside.

The engine was fully addressed in 2020 and a new electric ignition was installed, new cabling, new hoses, new clutch set, new water pump, etc. The recent engine overhaul and the renewed ignition are still under warranty. Equipped with a modern CD/radio (with bluetooth therefore hands-free calling), good speakers all around.

The car has a new Dutch periodic inspection but is exempt from future ones in the Netherlands as it’s 55 years old. The car is able to have a Dutch all-risk insurance as a vintage car. Exempt from Dutch road tax (also as far as the LPG is concerned!).
