This beautiful Volvo Coupé, one of only 8’518 examples built, was delivered through the Wolfgang Denzel company in Vienna on the 13th April 1987. Fully equipped with its automatic gearbox, leather interior, heated seats, air conditioning and electrically operated sliding roof, the 780 then cost a whopping 75’000 Swiss francs and was by far the most expensive model sold by Volvo. At the beginning of the 2000s the Volvo was imported by its third owner into Switzerland and registered here. In 2017 finally the coupe with 100’000 kilometres driven was taken over by the vendor. He only used the car occasionally and in 2021 had the radiator replaced and in 2022 had a new set of ignition wires installed. This rare Bertone coupe has now covered 106’000 kilometres and presents itself in very good original condition. It will be sold to a new enthusiast with its old EU registration documents as well as a Swiss registration with the last Veteran MOT completed in October 2017.
