Description

"The 1964 to 1967 FC Victor was marketed as the Victor 101, the name arising from the claim that there were '101 improvements' over the FB model. Bench or separate front seating was offered, with three-speed column-change gearbox or the optional four-speed floor change. A 'Powerglide' two-speed automatic transmission was also available. An optional radio was incorporated into the bright-metal dashboard trim, an innovative styling cue, as was the incorporation of the side and indicator lamps in the front bumper. The sculpted bumpers were, for the first time in the UK, blended with the body styling. The overall look of the car was unique in GM, with its slab sides outlined with brightwork seam covers incorporating the door handles. The FC 101 was the last Victor to have a push rod engine.
This 1965 Vauxhall Victor 101, fitted with the three-speed column change option, was subject to a full body restoration in 2014. This restoration included fitting genuine factory supplied sill panels, new front wings, and a rear wing. Purchased in 2016 by a specialist hire company who supply vehicles to the film and television industry and while in their ownership it has appeared in television series such as Endeavour, A Very English Scandal and recently in Pennyworth. Finished in green with light green roof and two-toned green interior this Victor 101 is supplied with a V5 registration document and a MoT test certificate which expires in November 2021. With only just over 50 of the Victor 101 left on the road or SORN this is a rare opportunity to buy one in good road worthy condition and being sold at No Reserve."
