Description

Estimated Price: £4,000 - £5,000

  • First introduced in 1962, the Michelotti - styled Triumph Vitesse became a staple of Standard-Triumph’s lineup throughout the 1960s and went through numerous engine, chassis and minor styling changes throughout its nine year tenure
  • In September 1966, the second generation Vitesse was introduced with an enlarged 2-litre six-cylinder offering a power increase to 95bhp, along with the fitment of a stronger clutch, an all-synchromesh gearbox, larger front brakes and a stronger differential
  • First registered in 1969, little is known about this Mk2 Convertible prior to being purchased by its current owner in 2012, though it seems a restoration had taken place at some point
  • Used as a third car during current ownership, the vehicle was subject to some mechanical work including fitting electronic ignition in 2013
  • Not used since 2020 and will require some additional recommissioning to get back on the road
  • Finished in white with black-striped detailing and black hood, over a red vinyl interior and sits on silver Minilite wheels
  • Supplied with previous MOTs, invoices during current ownership and some additional spare parts
  • In need of a little TLC to get back up and running, this little classic could be the perfect project
