Description

Estimated Price: £16,000 - £20,000

  • Introduced in 1968 and built until 1976, the TR6 paired Karmann’s sharper styling with the proven chassis and 2.5-litre six-cylinder power of the TR5, and is regarded as the last of the traditional Triumph roadsters
  • Sold new on 01/08/1974 by Station Garage of Didcot and first registered to T. W. Stuchbery & Son of Maidenhead, UDP 255N has recently been refinished in it's original shade of Mallard Green
  • Spending an impressive 45 years with a single registered keeper, from 1979 to 2024, before joining our vendor in February 2025
  • The 2500cc straight-six engine paired to a four-speed manual gearbox with electronically controlled overdrive, we are also reliably informed that both the petrol injection system and brakes have been recently overhauled
  • The history file, dating to its first years on the road includes the Triumph Passport to Service with Leyland dealer stamps, the owner’s handbook, invoices from the 1970s and 1980s and MOT Certificates from 1979 to 1986
  • A 1984 invoice from Convent Motors records the seats being retrimmed in black Connolly hide, with a new double duck hood and black carpet set
  • With well documented early history, looking splendid in its original Mallard Green and displaying just 52,835 miles, this is a highly original TR6 deserving of your inspection
