We have a wonderfully restored and mechanically overhauled 1969 Triumph TR6. The car is in British Racing Green with black interior trim and hood.

The car looks great on the outside. The coachwork has lovely thin, correctly aligned panelwork. The chrome bumpers and rims with wheelnuts are in fine condition. The paintwork has been expertly applied, is unblemished and looks great too. The good fitting hood is in pristine condition. The tonneau cover keeps everything neat when the hood is down.

A looking inside your eye is immediately drawn to the sports seats. These well moulded seats with lots of later support transform long trips into a treat. The carpets and dashboard were also replaced during the restoration and are nice and fresh. Naturally all of the instruments and controls are in good working oder. The manner in which the interior has been finished shows the hand of experienced specialists with a keen eye to detail. It simply looks great.

Mechanically the car is in perfect shape. The engine was fully rebuilt during the restoration. Naturally all consumables and engine accessories were replaced or refurbished. A peak under the bonnet and the high level of originality is immediately obvious. Even the air filter is wholly original. The straight-six 2.5 litre is particularly suited to touring, emitting a fine soundtrack and passing its power to a manual

fully synchromeshed 4-speed gearbox with overdrive. The overdrive certainly eases long distance travel. The gearbox action is precise. The brakes and suspension were replaced during the restoration and are now more than capable of fulfilling their task.

A number of things stand out in a positive sense. The front end of this TR6 is clad in 4 Hella spotlights with colour coded covers and it also has a stainless steel exhaust system. This was clearly a restoration that did not stint on either the amount of effort or cost.

Not only was the car restored and overhauled by experts but the whole process has also been nicely documented. Every receipt relating to the work carried out is present as well as a number of technical manuals. This is a fine Triumph TR6 in great livery and perfect condition.
