This classic car is for sale on Catawiki. To have more information or to place a bid click on the "BID NOW" button. .This Triumph TR3 A was produced in 1958, in pearl white colour with blue interior and left-hand drive, destined for the American market and sold new in California.
It is a TR version with front disc brakes.

In the early 2000s, it was re-imported from the USA and a specialised body shop began restoring it.

It was completely stripped down to the chassis; the original chassis was sandblasted, restored and repainted in the original black colour.

The suspension was restored and reassembled with new parts.

The dimensions of the body have been checked and it has been fitted with new bottoms, a new boot liner and various other parts
of the car were customised; the body sheet metal was completed and painted in the original high-quality pearl white colour. The intention was to do a competition restoration.

The rims, too, have been restored; the engine has the original matching number (of manufacture), as per the Heritage certificate from the British Triumph museum.

So far, the restoration has cost over €25,000, documented with invoices, without taking into account the cost of the car; however, the owner has passed away prematurely and the car is sold unfinished.

The main parts required to complete the car are present (see photo), however, some need to be purchased new but are available either in the UK from many renowned parts dealers or in Italy or Europe.

It is an excellent opportunity to buy a car on which the most expensive part of the restoration has been completed. Check the photos to see the quality of the work done.

- original chassis plate;
- original body plates;
- customs clearance note with charges paid;
- sales invoice with Apostille and notarisation (in lieu of Title);
- initial sales invoice;
- photocopy of Heritage certificate of origin with production specifications;
