This Triumph TR250 was supplied from new in the Washington state, the USA in 1968. About 30 years ago the car came over to the Netherlands. It was completely original and came from its first owner who had kept the car until 1987. For nigh on 30 years, the car was “forgotten” until a new owner came along a few years ago. He decided to leave the car in as much original condition as possible, after all, where can you find an untouched car these days? Whist inspecting the car it became obvious that as it had such a solid base and a mechanical overhaul and re-spray would suffice in bringing this car back to life. That is now exactly what we are able to offer you today. A very authentic example with a new coat of paint in “ready to go” condition. The engine was completely rebuilt using new parts where required, including a new stainless steel exhaust. All work is of recent date, carried out by a Dutch Triumph specialist. The € 9,000.- bill for the mechanical work alone is representative of the amount of time, effort and money spent on this car. The paintwork is in very good condition, the interior trim is partially original and in very good shape considering its age. The bodywork and chassis are naturally rust-free and the quality of the panel work is great.
