This Triumph Spitfire MK3 from year 1968 is in a moving condition. This specimen has a well-cared-for body in classic British Racing Green. The interior is also in a good condition, the seats are upholstered in black and have a white trim and the original instruments are intact. Very recently, major maintenance work was carried out on the technology and the engine runs excellent. Under the hood is a 1,500 cc engine instead of the usual 1,300 cc, a nice extra with more power which makes for a more pleasant participation in modern traffic. Also a grandiose and expensive accessory is the Overdrive, this 'extra gear' ensures considerably less revs, and therefore peace, at higher speeds. What is beautiful must remain beautiful, and therefore an extensive Dinitrol rust prevention treatment has been carried out. The tectyl is not only superficially applied but also in the cavities, an expensive but certainly also valuable treatment. At the moment the Spitfire has a German registration, recently it passed a strict German inspection.
