Description
"The Triumph Twenty-One (also known as the 3TA) was the first of the Triumph unit construction twin cylinder motorcycle. Rebranded as the Triumph 3TA in 1959, it continued in production until 1966 when it was survived by the Triumph T90. The engine was a classic Edward Turner with dry sump lubrication and a single Amal Monobloc carburettor. The 'Twenty-One' name spelt out in full chrome on the side panels is thought to either celebrate the twenty-first anniversary of Triumph Engineering Co. Ltd. or the US displacement in cubic inches equating to 350cc.
Originally registered on 1st April 1960, this extremely well-prepared Triumph has been restored and presents in very good order. The paintwork is virtually unmarked as is the chromework. Benefitting from being a matching numbers motorcycle and supplied with a V5C registration document, this 350cc 3TA is very collectable and certainly deserves further inspection especially given the popularity of these iconic British motorcycles."
