This is a unique Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn, the bare chassis was transported to Ghia Turin, Italy on February 14, 1952, where a handmade body was made especially for these Rolls. The Rolls Royce was delivered new by Martorelli on 7 June 1952 to a special owner, namely Countess Contessa Ida Matarazzo. Shortly after delivery, the Rolls was exhibited at the Villa Borghese Competition, where the car won the grand prize of honor. In the late 1950s, the Countess had the back of the Rolls adjusted. Ao the tailgate and the car were extended by 20 centimeters / adjusted for more luggage space. In 1973 the Rolls Royce was sold to Sr. Pantanella. A few years later, the car was sold via the Frey collection in Switzerland to the then president of the German section of the Rolls-Royce Enthousiast Club, living in Munich. This owner owned the Rolls until an American took over the car in 1983 and had it completely restored in Zurich, Switzerland. The body is beautiful and has neat fits. At the beginning of 1989 the car came into the hands of the last owner, who kept it in his possession for almost 30 years! As you read, the entire history is complete and all owners are known.
