Description

This is a unique vehicle, attractively proportioned and very well presented in concours condition - an Award winner. This is the only Rolls Royce with the body by R.W Osbourne & Son of Saffron Walden (Rex) which was ordered by the first owner Mr J. P. Harper in 1934 and then delivered in1935. Mr Harper Esq was an English Coal Baron who owned various coal mines in the Midlands and kept the Rolls Royce until his death in 1952.
The Royce Royce has always been symbolic of the "Best of British' and the thirties was the golden age for the marque. The cars were built at the factory in Derby with the bodies built to order by the customer. This unique car represents what a small coach builder could produce in the 30's

It has been totally restored with no expense spared with invoices totalling over £100000, the chassis and engine were rebuilt by Ristes Motor Company in Nottingham who are leading specialists for Rolls Royce and Bentley and the body by Tony Osborne the son of the original coach builder R.W Osbourne.

This car has an amazing history file which includes complete photographic documentation of the chassis and engine restoration together with a copy of the original order form from Raynhams & Co Motor company.
