. The car today:
Chassis #016 showcased the Mk III’s adaptability, transitioning from Chevy V8 to powerful Judd V10s while contending in top-tier North American endurance series. Despite early reliability setbacks, the car achieved notable podiums at Homestead and Watkins Glen and qualified impressively at iconic races like Daytona.
Its longevity—racing from 1999 to at least 2001—once again underlines the Mk III's renowned durability and competitive chassis design.
The previous collector and racing driver raced the car in several races such as the HSC Classic 24 Hour at Daytona in 2022 and Sebring Classic.
