We are very pleased to be able to offer an extremely rare Renault on Catawiki, which has the additional perk of being able to get a historic license plate in Germany from 2023 onwards: A Renault Clio I from January 1993 in the very rare “Baccara” version with automatic transmission, leather seats and air conditioning! Even the rare garment bag under the parcel shelf is still there.

The vehicle was bought at RENAULT in Saarland, Germany, and registered by its first owner on 22.01.1993; in the subsequent years it was always maintained at one and the same Renault dealership: From 1994 to 2013! Then the Renault was sold to its second (current) owner and continued to be maintained at an authorized official RENAULT workshop, the last maintenance service with entry in the maintenance booklet was carried out on 15.01.2018, another maintenance service was carried out in March 2021 at 109,088 km at the same RENAULT dealership, but it was not entered in the maintenance booklet (a retroactive entry would certainly be possible). So, the vehicle only had two owners since 1993!

My first car was also a Clio I with 1.4-litre engine, and I had a lot of fun with it at the time: The Clio I is very light (895 kg), so its 75 hp are more than enough to move it swiftly.

Automatic transmission, radio with CD player, power wing mirrors, wing mirrors in body colour, outdoor temperature gauge, air conditioning, body: 3 doors (hatchback), leather interior, alloy rims, metallic paint, 1.4 l engine, 55 kW, foldable rear seat with split backrest, bumpers in body colour and much more.

The maintenance booklet is available and nearly complete. The maintenance condition and general condition correspond to the condition of the vehicle. As it only had two owners, it has a transparent history. The vehicle has German documents, it was not reimported, but delivered new by Renault Germany.
