What a great little sports car this is! A clean sheet design made on the site of the original Alpine factory in Dieppe, the A110S weighs just 1,100 kg meaning 250bhp provides ample performance. Unlike most modern cars it has a character and drives with real verve and alacrity making a nonsense of the bhp race pursued by most other manufacturers. The attention to detail is truly remarkable, every item being specially designed for lightweight a la McLaren F1.
This finely honed driving tool received universal adulation from the press upon launch and many serious collectors have purchased one to join their far more costly machines.

This is a rare UK supplied Premiere Edition finished in black, the rarest colour option. These cars featured a bespoke specification and were very limited in number. Importantly they were built before WLTP European legislation demanded the fitment of a particulate filter which has greatly compromised the sound and power delivery of the later A110S models. I’ve had both a Premiere Edition and a later Legende version and there is a very notable difference in the way the cars drive.

This example supplied by the Alpine Centre in West London has covered just 2,500 miles in the hands of its single owner. It is unmarked and has been correctly serviced, the second service having just been completed by the Alpine Centre in Winchester.
