A type of Reliant with just a little extra. One wheel, to be precise! In contrast to the Robin, with the Scimitar GT you can go up to speed by tilting a chicane without 90 degrees. The similarities with the two cars stopped with the brand name and plastic bodywork.

The history of Reliant started with a few tricycles and quadricycles in the cheaper and order segment. In the early 1960s, Reliant began to get a taste for it and made the Scimitar GT in addition to the Saber. A sporty coupé on the chassis of the Saber with a 2.5 liter six-cylinder engine from Essex. In recognition of potential, the car eventually achieved a small success; Princess Anne (United Kingdom) has bought a total of 9 Scimitars. Furthermore, the Scimitar GT SE4 has never been really popular. As a result, the circulation is very limited (around 260 copies) and makes this Reliant a truly British classic!

Our copy is in top condition and has been in the hands of an enthusiast. With its White Rose exterior and black leather interior, this is a real Cool Classic!

Eine Art Reliant mit einem kleinen Extra. Ein Rad, um genau zu sein! Im Gegensatz zum Robin kann beim Scimitar GT durch Kippen einer Schikane ohne 90 Grad die Geschwindigkeit gesteigert werden.Die Ähnlichkeiten mit den beiden Autos hörten mit dem Markennamen und der Kunststoffkarosserie auf.

Die Geschichte von Reliant begann mit ein paar Dreirädern und Vierrädern im Billig- und Bestellsegment. In den frühen 1960er Jahren begann Reliant, sich darauf einzulassen, und stellte neben dem Sabre auch den Scimitar GT her. Ein sportliches Coupé auf dem Chassis des Sabre mit einem 3,0-Liter-Sechszylinder von Essex. In Anerkennung des Potenzials erzielte das Auto schließlich einen kleinen Erfolg; Princess Anne (Großbritannien) hat insgesamt 9 Scimitars gekauft. Außerdem war der Scimitar GT SE4 noch nie so beliebt. Infolgedessen ist die Auflage sehr begrenzt (ca. 1000 Exemplare) und macht diesen Reliant zu einem echten britischen Klassiker!

Unser Exemplar befindet sich in einem Top-Zustand und war in den Händen eines Enthusiasten. Mit seiner weißen Rose Außenseite und der schwarzen Lederausstattung ist dies ein echter Cooler Klassiker!
