What most distinguishes a Cayman from a Boxster are the functional and style differences of each body and, to a lesser extent, the benefits. The Cayman is somewhat more functional than the Boxster, it has a larger rear glass (which gives it more visibility) and a metal roof that insulates better than a canvas hood. When driving on a very irregular road, certain vibrations that the Cayman does not have can be felt in the Boxster.

Lo que más distingue a un Cayman de un Boxster son las diferencias funcionales y de estilo de cada carrocería y, en menor medida, las prestaciones. El Cayman es algo más funcional que el Boxster , tiene un cristal trasero más grande (que le da algo más de visibilidad) y un techo de metal que aisla mejor que una capota de lona. Cuando se circula por firme muy irregular, en el Boxster se pueden sentir ciertas vibraciones que no tiene el Cayman.
