Sold new in Germany on 1 July 1970. Imported into Italy on 6 June 1990 and registered (white plates). Since then, it has had only three owners.
Unusual yet original color scheme of Olympic Blue over black leatherette interiors.
Still equipped with its original engine and gearbox.
After being restored at Maffeo, the Porsche center in Biella, it entered in a competition, organized by Porsche Italia, to identify the best restoration of 2017 ranking third place. There is plenty of photographic evidence of this work available.
Bodywork completely restored, with almost all the original sheet metal parts being retained. The interiors, too, were restored, but for a new carpet, which is new; the restored dashboard, seats and components cleaned, but still original. Great care was taken, even over minor details, to respect the vehicle’s original features. When replacements were necessary, only original Porsche spares were used. The engine was disassembled, checked and serviced, the carburetors were overhauled, and the shock absorbers and suspensions were completely restored.    
Present Porsche wheels are larger than the original ones, but they nevertheless comply with the measurements authorized by Porsche for the model.
