Description
Offered here is a UK-supplied, right-hand drive, 3.3-litre 964 Turbo which currently displays less than 47,000 miles. Supplied new by AFN Porsche in Chiswick and first registered in May 1993, finished in gleaming Grand Prix White with a classic grey leather interior and optioned with a sunshine roof, sports leather seats and a top-tinted windscreen.
Today, this Turbo presents in outstanding order and has benefitted from some extensive attention over recent years including a thorough underside restoration carried out by a specialist Porsche technician. This detailed overhaul is fully documented with stage-by-stage photographic evidence along with a wealth of recent invoices. The images display many major mechanical components being removed before being renewed or refinished correctly prior to careful reassembly and as such the underside of this example presents as well as the exterior.
The relatively low mileage is supported by a history file including the original service book stamped by Porsche Service Centres or regarded Porsche specialists. Most recent major maintenance includes an engine-out service with tappets checked and adjusted, new belts, gearbox oil, A/C overhaul, steering-rack overhaul and four-wheel alignment in April 2021 at 43,930 miles and subsequently an oil service with professional wheel refurbishment in February 2022 at 45,253 miles. The wheels are the correct original genuine split-rim Porsche items and not aftermarket replicas. It's supplied with an excellent history file and has a full, clean MOT to September 2023.
The previous owner really cared for this Turbo and invested a great deal of time, money and energy to have it looking and performing as well as it does today. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a highly coveted yet totally usable example of the classic 964 Turbo finished in arguably one of the best period colour schemes available and will appeal to 911 collectors and enthusiastic drivers alike.
