Description

Type of body: Targa
Transmission: 5 gears, Manual gearbox
Model range: 1974 - 1976
Registration number: PO-05-68

This is an extremely attractive 1976 Porsche 911 Targa. The car is equipped with the beloved 2.7 engine and is in beautiful original condition. The engine has recently been completely overhauled and is in fantastic condition. The car has a very attractive colour scheme consisting of a Cockey Braun 408 exterior and an interior consisting of Tartan and brown leather. The "Hackmessers" complete the picture on the outside. The car has only just driven 100,000 kilometres since 1976 and it shows in the overall condition.

The car is in very original condition and, thanks to the low mileage, it never needed a full restoration. The paint of the 911 has been largely repainted and still looks very well cared for. The car is on the aforementioned Hackmesser rims, which are fitted with good tires in the correct sizes. The sheet metal is nice and thin and the fits are correct. The roof of the Targa is also in very good condition, easy to assemble and closes nicely. The hood and luggage compartment at the front also close easily and the window and door rubbers are also in good condition.

The interior looks beautiful in this rare colour scheme. The green coloured Tartan combined with the brown leather and the brown carpets forms an irresistible combination. The inside is completely original and is neatly cared for. Obviously, the inside has some traces of use that match the age of the car and the mileage of the car. The instruments and controls are also in very good condition and all function as they should. When you see the car, it is not surprising that many people say that a Porsche is built for eternity. All materials, the way in which the whole is put together: pure quality.

The technology is in top condition. The engine has recently been completely overhauled. The entire engine has been disassembled to the last bolt and subjected to a thorough overhaul. The work was carried out to a high standard and the engine runs fantastic. The engine has a displacement of 2.7 litres and produces 177 hp. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The gearbox shifts precisely and has fine proportions. You can therefore enjoy a relaxed tour or drive on your favourite mountain road at full speed. The brakes and chassis are also very well maintained and contribute to the driving pleasure in this beautiful air-cooled 911 Targa. An additional advantage of the "Hackmesser" rims is that they are narrower than the normally mounted Fuchs wheels and therefore contribute to more predictable driving behaviour.

In short, a beautiful European delivered Porsche 911 in a beautiful colour scheme and in good condition.
