This1971 Porsche 911T was purchased new by Dr. Mellon Fry who owned and maintained it for 38 years selling it in 2009 to Martin Foldman. Martin added the sport seats and sold it to Steve Shee in 2021. I purchased the car in June of 2023. The original invoice and service records remain with the car.

According to a letter from Dr. Fry to Martin Foldman the engine was rebuilt in 1988 using 'S' pistons and Weber carburetors. Around 7 thousand miles have been put on the car since the engine rebuild. Prior to my purchase in June of 2023 the compression was tested with readings of 190-195psi for all cylinders. This T runs more like an E with the rebuilt original engine.

In June 2023 the car was stripped to bare metal and repainted the original color of light yellow; a new headliner installed; Fuchs wheels restored by Weidman‘s Wheels, Oroville, CA; H-4 headlights; and a safety check with full service performed. The Avon tires are dated 12/21.
The milage is 116,500 as documented by the various repair receipts. The chassis was dry ice cleaned showing off the excellent floor with the original undercoating. More detailed photos of the clean chassis are available.
