Description

This classic car is for sale on Catawiki. To have more information or to place a bid click on the "BID NOW" button. .Porsche - 911 Coupe' Series 0 from 1965, one of the first produced.
The chassis number is part of the "300" series batch, in fact the first three digits are 302. The chassis, gearbox, and engine numbers match those of origin. Fully restored bodywork, mechanics, engine, and interior following Porsche original specifications.
The interior is in black leatherette; the engine is 1991 cc and delivers 130 hp of power; the gearbox is 5-speed manual. Interior and exterior colours as per the original. Very rare car, with electric opening roof as an option: a must for the time.
It is a very reliable car, the 6-cylinder engine, completely overhauled, has a good torque and starts immediately. After the very first specimens equipped with Solex carburettors, the manufacturer opted for mounting Weber carburettors - as in this case - since they were more reliable. The restoration of the bodywork was carried out starting from the bare sheet, which was repaired where necessary. As an example of the work carried out, some photos have been attached. The restoration is documented by roughly 300 photos that will eventually be provided to the buyer.
The car is from the USA, properly imported in Italy with customs fees paid and Italian registration in progress.
It is possible to check the car at the Centro Porsche of Naples.
The Certificate of Origin issued by Porsche North America and Porsche Italia is also provided.
