Hexagon Classics are delighted to offer this remarkable one owner, low mileage 911 (930) Turbo Coupe in the highly desirable black with black colour combination.

The attributes which have always been chiefly responsible for Porsche’s amazing successes, also ensure the 911 Turbo’s everyday practicality, reliability, superb quality, and safety. Moreover, what made Porsche’s racing cars so fast on the circuit, makes the 911 Turbo so enjoyable to drive – superior performance, outstanding acceleration, and the marque’s characteristically excellent roadholding, braking and cornering ability.

As in the racing Turbos, the hot boost air is cooled on its way from the charger to the butterfly valve by an intercooler. This ensures that maximum air pressure and optimum filling of the cylinders in maintained under all circumstances. The 911 Turbo’s performance was very impressive, accelerating from 0 - 62 mph in 5.4 seconds and had a maximum speed of more than 160 mph. All enabled by its air-cooled, 6-cylinder with exhaust gas turbocharger. The standard Turbo produced 300 bhp, and this very special car was uprated in period by Dage Sport to produce 353 bhp at the flywheel.

Supplied directly by Dr. Ing. h. c. F. Porsche Tourist Delivery Dep’t, Stuttgart, in March 1987, this one owner Turbo was driven straight to the UK on its temporary German number plates, where the running in service was completed by Messrs. Heddell and Deeks, Porsche. The plates still accompany the 3 history files!  Even the hand-typed price list and original invoices are retained.

This is a totally original car that cannot be repeated and presents a rare opportunity to the Porsche collector. Available to view now at our London showrooms.
