OVERVIEW

Layered in rich history the “RS” moniker has always been reserved for Porsche’s best. Taking the best and evolving it forward, the 991.2 GT3 RS is a tour de force in the modern sports car world. Titanium, magnesium, carbon fiber, and aluminum all make an appearance for strength and weight savings on this highly focused machine.

The RS lineage began with the 1973 Carrera RS, and has evolved through the years bringing us tremendous driver focused cars. Jumping to the water-cooled variants, the 996 GT3 RS was a track focused machine that was not sold in the USA. The 997 GT3 RS continued the use of lightweight materials in the search of lower lap times and was universally heralded as an exceptional driver’s car. The 2019 991.2 GT3 RS takes all of the past learnings and advanced chassis and engine design to the ultimate level, while shedding more weight from the GT3 on which it starts from (albeit with some pretty serious changes and upgrades).

The 991 chassis GT3 RS was introduced in the US for the 2016 model year, and quickly sold out to worldwide fanfare. As a follow up, Porsche had to deliver an amazing result with the 2019 991.2 car, and as the motoring press and numerous clients have confirmed – Porsche delivered. What most expected to be a “facelift” or half evolution car, seemingly has delivered a full evolutionary cycle in just three short years.

Presented in Black over a black leather and alcantara interior and sitting on Satin Aurum wheels it is a very striking color combinations in person. The 2019 GT3 RS sits on massive Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, measuring in at 265/35-20 front and 325/30-21 rear. These happen to be the same size at the Porsche 918 Spyder. Heady company indeed.

Notable options on this 991.2 Porsche GT3 RS (original sticker of over $212k):

Front Axle Lift
Extended Range Fuel Tank
Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB)
Leather in Black/GT Silver (Alcantara)
BOSE Surround Sound System
Auto Dimming Mirrors with Rain Sensor

This car is in great condition, showing just under 9,000 miles from the second (current) local owner. Further enhanced for track day fun with a Cantrell Motorsports roll bar, and Schroth Racing harnesses, the car has seen a handful of track days, and was clear paint film wrapped in full from the time of delivery until our previous sale of the car in 2020 to the current owner. Taken on a wonderful mountain road trip in late 2020, the front paint had some rock chip blemishes and was refinished and clear wrapped again after that trip. The paint is glossy and uniform throughout, now featuring subtle side scripts on the doors in gold. The original full size “GT3 RS” side script in gold was removed with the clear film removal, and the car comes with replacement full size script stickers to re-install as desired - we just prefer the more subtle look today!

This 991.2 chassis 2019 Porsche GT3 RS is offered for sale with all original manuals, tools, window sticker, and both keys. Call today to add this to your garage, or be ready for the next track day with your friends.
