Sofort fällt ins Auge, was den frisch modellgepflegten Porsche 911 GT3 mit Touring-Paket so anders macht: Ohne Heckflügel kommt der Touring-911er daher und besitzt stattdessen einen variablen Heckspoiler wie der 911 Carrera. Und auch die Reminiszenz an den limitierten GT3 R kommt nicht von ungefähr, immerhin kennt auch dieser keinen Spoiler.

Angetrieben wird der GT3 Touring durch einen Vierliter-Sauger, der sich bereits in GT3-Cup-Rennfahrzeugen als zuverlässig bewährt hat. 500 PS und 460 Newtonmeter wirken hier auf die Hinterachse und feuern den GT3 in 3,9 Sekunden auf Tachostand 100 km/h. Von dort aus geht es weiter bis auf 316 km/h, was gerade mal 4 km/h unter der Höchstgeschwindigkeit des bespoilerten Gegenstücks liegt. (Werksangaben)

Die Bezeichnung Touring geht auf eine Ausstattungsvariante des 911 Carrera RS aus dem Modelljahr 1973 zurück. Bereits damals standen 911-Design und klassische Innenausstattungselemente im Mittelpunkt. Der Porsche 911 GT3 mit Touring-Paket greift diese Idee wieder auf und überträgt sie elegant und stilsicher in die Gegenwart.

The designation “Touring” goes back to an equipment variant of the 911 Carrera RS from the 1973 model year. Even then, 911 design and classic interior elements were the focus.
