Technically and optically very well maintained / kept.
The 3.4L engine runs perfectly and starts immediately. The engine does not vibrate or smoke.
The automatic transmission shifts well and the brakes work properly.
Beautiful brake disc set!
The car is technically well maintained / kept and no expense has been spared on maintenance.

The interior is completely original and looks good. Wonderful, original sports leather seats with a unique walnut wood finish in the dashboard and door frames.

The walnut wood is slightly loose and missing pieces in some places, especially under the windscreen. For a perfect finish of the interior, it would be best to replace it with a new set of wooden strips for the 996.

The exterior is original and the original paint / lacquer is still in good condition. Of course it has some minor signs of wear here and there, being more than 23 years old.
Please see the photos of the paint / lacquer thickness gauge. The original, first coat of paint / lacquer is still in good condition! Only the front bumper has been repainted due to small spots of stone chipping.

Comes with original hardtop and the stand for the hardtop.
Engine and trunk in good, original condition.
Wonderful sound with the custom sports exhaust, fabulous, gives you goosebumps.
