Description

Porsche 911 3.2 G50 Targa - G50 Gearbox - Complete history - Warranty

Specifications:
Engine: Flat-6 3.2 - 231 hp - 16 fiscal hp
Gearbox: 5-speed manual (G50)
Exterior: black - Interior: leather and grey/black fabric
First registration: 09/01/1989
Mileage: 219,964 km
VIN: WP0ZZZ91ZKS140455

History:
The 3.2 arrives in 1984. It keeps the model's timeless lines and gains a larger 3.2-litre engine. From 1987, it adopts the G50 gearbox, more precise and more robust than the 915 gearbox. The Targa version adds a removable roof and a glazed rear band, for open-air driving pleasure. The 3.2 G50 Targa is the most desirable of the 3.2 line-up.

🇩🇪 Our example was delivered new on 9 January 1989 in Germany.
🇫🇷 The car arrives in France in March 2003, and our client took ownership in 2009.
📄 Its file includes the original stamped service book, a substantial invoice file, and two recent expert appraisal reports (2021 and 2026). The mileage is traceable, and the car has always been serviced at regular intervals since 1989.
It has become rare to find a 3.2 this well documented.

Condition:
This Targa is in very good overall condition.

🚘 The panel gaps are consistent and the bodywork is sound. The expert found no trace of impact or corrosion. The black paint was redone in its original colour (code L700) in the 2000s. It presents very well. The Fuchs wheels show light rubbing marks from parking, but these remain very discreet. The Targa roof is in good condition and provides good weather sealing.

The upholstery, in cream leather and grey/black tartan fabric, contrasts perfectly with the car's colour and is in good condition. The front seats and rear bench are well preserved. The dashboard is also in good condition. The onboard instruments and equipment are working. The air conditioning has just been recharged.

âš™ The 3.2 starts easily whether cold or warm, with no unusual noise or smoke. The G50 gearbox shifts smoothly. The road behaviour remains faithful to the original.

The car underwent a major service at the end of 2025 (€4,500) with specialist Flat Roads and is ready for the road. This work included:
* Engine oil change and filter replacement;
* Alternator replacement;
* Crankshaft seal replacement;
* Clutch replacement;
* Starter motor replacement;
* Brake fluid flush.
