Our superb Porsche 911 is a desirable Targa version which was delivered new on 1 July 1988 by the Porsche Place dealership in New York, USA. Speedster magazine featured an article about it in 2021 (issue 60), where we learn that its previous and first owner drove only 17,000 miles before storing it in his collection. In April 2020 the Porsche Center Eindhoven in the Netherlands overhauled the beautiful 911 for an amount exceeding 6000 €, before joining the collection of our French businessman via specialist Serge Heitz, who also took care of converting this 911 into European specificities. This elegant Targa has a unique configuration, with a bodywork in metallic navy-blue colour beautifully combined with the navy-blue leather interior as well as silver grey leather seats and matching carpets. It has sought-after options such as the leather steering wheel with raised hub, cruise control, rear wiper, electric comfort seats and its original Blaupunkt car radio. This example with its rare colour combination is in a superb well-preserved condition, thanks to its low mileage. Its Porsche certificate confirms that this specific car is "matching colours" and "matching numbers". Its logbook and user manuals are still present, as well as its identification label under the front bonnet.
