Not an 'investment special' but looked-after daily transport</li></ul><div><br /></div><div><div><div>To celebrate the production of the 250,000th 911, Porsche proudly released a special edition 3.2 Carrera to commemorate this milestone, and appropriately, these were referred to as the Commemorative Edition (occasionally the Jubilee/ Signature Edition). Produced from late 1987 for the 1988 model year, the Commemorative Edition featured a special interior and exterior paint and leather in the form of a Diamond Blue Metallic (697) exterior and Silver Blue 'ruffle finish' interior with Ferry Porsche’s name in script on the headrests. The cars were fitted with a front spoiler and rear wing and the standard Fuchs were painted to match the exterior colour. In most other regards they were similar to other Carreras of the period, but for those with a particular fondness for these colours, the Commemorative Edition at least allowed those 911s to be easily distinguished from the rest. </div><div><br /></div><div>This pretty little, right-hand drive, 911 has been owned by four owners in total with the current owner having enjoyed it for the past 20 years and using it on a daily basis. During 2013 the car was stripped and repainted in its original Diamond Blue. There are invoices with the car from 1990, '92 and '94  from AFN Porsche for routine services and maintenance and all the MoT Certificates from 1990 except for 1991, 1993 and 2016. The MoT Certificate for 2016 can be viewed online. Instal new interior carpets.</div><div>2012 - Supply and fit new clutch assembly, new cooler short pipes and bobbins. Supply and fit a new battery. </div><div>2010 - Replace oil breather pipes.</div><div>2009 - Replace 3 main oil pipes.</div><div>2008 - Supply and fit front brake pads and sensors.</div><div>2006 - Specialised weld to rear anti-roll bar bracket, replace wiper blades, replace all 4 tyres fit and balance, replace rear bearings. Replace starter motor and alternator, repair faulty wiring to the starter motor, fit new terminals.</div>2005 - Supply and fit stainless steel exhaust pre-silencer, rear box parts, gasket and clamp set, rear drive shaft gator parts, engine earth strap parts,brakes, pads, and sensors. Supply and fit 2 x heater flaps, heater fresh air fan, heater control cables and heater relays, alloy door button x2, door lock pop up button.<div>2004 - recover Targa Roof .using mohair fabric.</div><div>2003 - Supply and fit 2 X rear shocks.</div><div>2002 - Supply and fit new distributor caps and rotor arms.</div><div>2001 - Replace wheel bearings, replace the rear lamp.</div><div>1998 - Repair wiring to seat switch.
