recognized by their metallic diamond blue colour (colour code L697), their blue leather upholstery (code RZ) with the signature of Ferry Porsche on the seats.
The car which we are presenting was first sold in France and delivered on October 2nd 1987 by Sonauto to its first owner. He would be followed by only two others in 30 years. All the items of special equipment which constitute the originality of the rare limited series are still present, notably the magnificent Fuchs alloy wheels painted the same diamond blue as the bodywork and with polished rims, the short throw gear lever, the option of an electric sunroof, the thick carpeting in the luggage compartment, the “Carrera” inscription on the bonnet, etc. All the numbers match and there is even the label under the front boot lid showing the codes of all the options. The car has a certified odometer reading of 223.000 km. The file of invoices bears witness to careful and regular maintenance and the complete overhaul of the engine and clutch at 190.000 km in 2000, carried out by the Ragueneau garage. Mr Kessler, a great lover of motor sport and a former competitor in the R5 Alpine Cup, bought the car in 1999 and kept it until 2013 when he sold it to the current owner. The latter straightaway put in hand a major programme of renovation. The bodywork was repainted, all the body rubbers and seals were replaced, the brakes overhauled, etc. Everything was done so that the 911 could be driven in total safety and to ensure that the legendary reliability could remain true to its reputation. The Pirelli P6000 tyres are new. Now in near perfect condition and absolutely road-ready, this extremely rare 911 will certainly appeal to the most knowledgeable enthusiasts.
