EXTERIOR
Finished in a glistening coat of Arctic Silver Metallic the wide-body curves of the 997 Turbo feel somewhat refined from the previous generation. The paintwork presents beautifully, consistent and rich throughout with just a couple of carefully touched in stone chips to note.

Finished in black a deep chin spoiler, side skirts and rear Turbo badge perfectly contrast the bright finish, as does the black soft top which neatly folds into place at the press of a button. The hood is starting to show some very minor cosmetic signs of wear, however it functions perfectly and sits free from any holes or tears.

INTERIOR
Continuing the tonal scheme a combination of black leather and aluminium trim adorns the cabin of this Turbo. The heated sports seats provide excellent support, with ample cushioning for those longer drives, they present very well with just some minor wear to the drivers bolster to note.

Amidst the lovely surfaces, plenty of tech resides to continue the refined feel. Being a gen 1.5 car this 997 benefits from an updated PCM with Nav, Bluetooth and AUX inputs as well as Sports Chrono Plus, Park Assist, PASM, Dual zone climate and the all important rear wind deflector.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The flat 6 is unmistakably Porsche on start up, purposeful yet civilised. At cruising speeds the engine is smooth and efficient, yet at the press of a pedal can unleash its blistering performance potential. The Tiptronic ‘S’ gearbox pulls through the gears with perfect German precision and huge amounts of torque low down from the variable geometry turbos.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Two-tone 19″ alloys look sensational with the diamond cut finish accentuated by darker anthracite details. Subject to a recent refurbishment the wheels are immaculate, free from any unsightly scuffs or scratches. Tyres are a matching set of premium Pirelli P-Zeros.

Showing through the bright finish wheels yellow calipers indicate this 997 Turbo benefits from costly factory fitted ceramic composite brakes (PCCB) which provide huge, consistent stopping power over their steel counterparts.
