Description

Chassis No. WP0AB29933S685339

In the space between a naturally aspirated 911 and a GT3, there lies the 911 Turbo, which creates the unbeatable combination of a comfortable street car ride and utterly breathtaking performance. The 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged 24-valve flat-six used in the 996-generation 911 Turbo shared many parts with the 911 GT3 and GT1 race cars, including the same engine case, pistons, and camshaft. The pair of K64 turbos produce 12.3 psi of boost for each bank of cylinders, which is sent through an intercooler before making it into the combustion chamber, producing 415-horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. In an effort to cope with this increased power, the wheel arches were flared by 2.6 inches to accommodate wider 18-inch Turbo Twist wheels. From a standing start, this car is capable of sprinting to 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds, on its way to a 196 mph top speed.

This particular 996-generation 911 Turbo completed production at the Zuffenhausen-based factory in September 2002, with the body finished in timeless Seal Grey Metallic, complimented by a full Graphite Grey leather interior with lumbar supporting seats. It was subsequently shipped to the United States and delivered new to Baker Motor Company of Charleston, South Carolina, with an original MSRP of $120,130. The car would remain under their careful care until it was sold to its first private owner, another Charleston Porsche enthusiast, in July 2017 with only 2,433 miles indicated at the time. The car was last sold in April 2019 with only 3,100 miles and left the Charleston area for the first time, relocating to a renowned Ohio-based collector of sports and racing cars. Today this superb 911 Turbo remains in remarkable original condition after 20 years, with only 3,515 miles indicated on the odometer, and is accompanied by its window sticker, two sets of keys, owner's manual, and a clean CARFAX report supporting the low mileage.
