The Porsche 996 is the successor to the 993 and the first 911 with a water-cooled six-cylinder boxer engine. The Porsche 996 is the fifth generation in the evolution of the original (air-cooled) 911. The water-cooled engine changed the typical exhaust sound of the Porsche. By adjusting the exhausts, engineers managed to produce a similar sound as with an air-cooled engine.

There were 911 Millenium Edition Porsche 996 cars built in 2000, all finished with a special wood-inlaid interior, but these were only available in a coupé version. This Porsche has the same special interior. What makes this Porsche more unique is the original manual transmission, only a small number of the 996 cars had this.

This Porsche is in original condition (engine, transmission and interior are all original). The car starts immediately, it shifts through all gears and brakes properly. The interior is still in neat condition (except for some signs of wear, these are to be expected on a car this age), it looks very nice with the L555 Paladio Metallic paint.
