Porsche took a completely new road in 1997 with the water-cooled 911, internally referred to as 996. For the first time no air-cooled engine, for the first time a new body from A to Z: the 911 was ready for a new chapter. In fact, a new book.
Although the purists needed time to get used to the new concept, the 996 is now on the rise. Porsche enthusiasts know where to find the car and the 996 is also very popular with car enthusiasts who have never driven a Porsche before.

This beautiful black 996 Carrera with manual transmission dates from 1998. We call that 'manual transmission' right away because we are almost certain that you immediately went looking to see which gearbox can be found in this Carrera. Here: not the Tiptronic, but the very smooth-shifting six-speed gearbox adorns this 996.

The first owner of this 996 opted for black paint with a black leather interior, a sliding roof and the beloved 'manual gearbox'. An ideal configuration where there is actually nothing to criticize. We combine that with the original mileage of 70,835 kilometers. It will not surprise you that we can be fairly brief about the external condition of the Porsche: beautiful. The paint is exceptionally neat and has a nice shine. What immediately stands out is the choice for the red accents. Of course a nod to the more exclusive variants of the 911, such as the GT3, but also providing a nice contrast. Prefer completely black? The wheels are of course relatively easy to replace for original ones and the stickers on the sides are also 'child's play' to remove. What then remains is an insanely original 996 Carrera with extremely low mileage.

It goes without saying that the interior is 'matching' to the mileage. The leather of the seats is of course top quality, so the mileage cannot be traced directly to that. But also the steering wheel, gear knob and buttons in the interior indicate sparing use. The interior of a Porsche, with the dark headliner, looks like new and every control element feels like it. The seats are of course electrically adjustable and heated.

The Porsche was sold new in Germany and has been in the Netherlands for over 15 years. A 996 like this can be used for any purpose: pleasure rides, long journeys, but also daily business trips, where the car is of course also very favorable because of the addition friendliness. The car drives as befits a fresh and very well maintained 996: amazing!
