Description

French title - The most powerful version of the 993 - Immaculate condition, service book - High level of performance - Just 53 435 kilometres from new Of all the different 993 models, the Turbo S is one of the best. Apart from the competition-focussed GT2, it was the most powerful road-going Porsche of its day. The 3.6-litre engine had twin turbochargers that boosted the power to 450 bhp. The 993 Turbo was also the first all-wheel drive Porsche Turbo, a feature the Turbo S benefitted from. Other special features included a largely carbon-fibre passenger compartment, yellow brake calipers, slightly larger rear spoiler and air intakes behind the doors. This extraordinary machine offered a performance at the highest level and was part of an elite group of cars capable of achieving 300 km/h. No more than 345 examples were produced in 1997 and 1998. This Porsche 993 Turbo S was sold new in Düsseldorf before passing into the hands of an enthusiast from the Côte d'Azur. It was acquired by our collector in 2012, since when it has hardly been driven. As with all the cars in this collection, it is in immaculate condition and comes with its service book duly stamped. Presented in black, it also sports a black leather interior, sports seats, an aluminium pack, a carbon pack, telephone kit, air-conditioning, tinted electric windows and tinted windscreen. It also has a Cargraphic sports exhaust with stainless steel outlets and a Turbo S Aerokit. The file with the car includes a large number of maintenance invoices detailing work to the brakes, running gear and overhaul of the cylinder heads. To complete the extraordinary appeal of this car, it is equipped with 19-inch type GT2 wheels, which came as an exclusive option on the Turbo S. The presentation is superb, inside and out, without the slightest sign of damage or corrosion. The chrome work and accessories are in excellent original condition, and the tyres show just 10% wear at front and back. Inside, the seats, dashboard and doors are all immaculate. Displaying 53,435 km today, this car provides a rare chance to acquire one of the most iconic, most powerful and rarest versions of the 993, that has been carefully maintained and is presented in superb condition.
