"The Porsche 993 was introduced in 1993 as a replacement for the 964 generation of the iconic 911 models and was built until 1998. Regarded by many as the best generation of 911's ever produced from Stuttgart, this car was the last to use the air-cooled flat six engine that had powered 911's for the previous thirty years. It was offered in a number of guises and specifications during its production life including two and four-wheel drive, known as Carrera and Carrera 4 respectively with the targa roof an option.
First registered in August of 1996 and acquired by our vendor in October of 1997, he has owned and cherished this example for some 21 years. This car is presented in metallic turquoise with black leather trim and upgraded Porsche Kevlar-backed sports seats. The Targa has been privately owned and thus cared for impeccably since new, with a fabulous service record using only Lancaster AFN Porsche until 2002, when the maintenance and care switched to Camtune. They later became Porsche Service Centre Byfleet and know the car inside out and who the vendor trusts implicitly.
