Le terme "Carrera RS" trouve clairement son origine en 1972, lors du lancement de l'Iconic 911 Carrera 2.7 RS, dont le succès allait par la suite constituer le point de départ d'un certain nombre de modèles 911 ultimes et sportifs. Malgré le succès de l'original, Porsche n'a pas lancé d'autre RS sur le marché avant 18 ans, jusqu'à la création, en 1991, du Type 964 RS, dont 2 282 exemplaires ont été produits. L'apparition de la génération 993 en 1993 conduit Porsche à revisiter sa 911 Carrera, pour les mêmes fins de compétition. Une obligation sportive qui s'accompagne donc, une nouvelle fois, d'une version routière produite en petit nombre et baptisée RS.
La 911 Carrera RS type 993 fait sa première apparition au salon d'Amsterdam en janvier 1995. 1 014 exemplaires ont été vendus dans le monde entier, plus 227 construits selon les spécifications Clubsport très recherchées. Toutes les RS sont très recherchées mais, après la Carrera RS originale, la 993 RS, qui est la dernière RS refroidie par air, est la plus demandée
Construite en janvier 1996, cette 993 RS a été équipée en option de la couleur Jaune Vitesse (Speed Yellow) avec les options suivantes :
• 197 Batterie plus puissante
• 451 Suppression de la radio
• 471 Aileron arrière fixe Carrera RS Clubsport
• 562 Airbags avant
• 573 Climatisation
• 651 Vitres électriques
La voiture a été importée et vendue neuve au Japon par SHOWA Automobile qui l'a vendue à son premier propriétaire à Osaka en 1996. La voiture a été utilisée occasionnellement, couvrant seulement 31000 kms avec son premier propriétaire et a été régulièrement entretenue. En 2015, la voiture a été achetée par son second et actuel propriétaire français, rejoignant une collection de RS que nous sommes fiers de vous proposer.La voiture fut entretenue régulièrement et utilisée avec parcimonie elle n’a depuis parcouru que 5000km totalisant 35800km aujourd’hui..
