Description

OVERVIEW

The iconic Porsche 911 reigns today among the most enduring and cabable sports cars ever built. Available in several configurations over six decades of development, Porsche has improved on these exceptional performance cars with each consecutive model, incorporating lessons from decades of racing into the many variants of the 911 – each one uniquely suited to a range of owner preferences and driving styles.

In 2012, the seventh generation 911 became the newest offering. Designated the 991, the model line continued through the years with Porsche’s incremental improvements enhancing each car. Performance from the 3.4 Liter 350hp engine coupled with the PDK 7speed transmission was exhilarating, comfortable, and seamlessly combined in the beautifully shaped 911 profile which remains one of the most iconic sports cars available today.

The first owner purchased the car in February 2015, retaining it for approximately two years. The car returned to the selling dealership in February 2017 where it was given a 20k service, two tires were replaced, and brake fluid was flushed with 18,596 miles indicated. The second owner purchased the car in April 2017 and moved to western Washington in 2018 with a service performed at Porsche Bellevue then indicating 24,989 miles. In October 2018, with 25,707 miles, the car was given a 40k service at Porsche Bellevue with two new tires mounted, drive belts replaced, and fluids changed. That same year minor damage was reported to the right rear of the car and professionally repaired. No airbags deployed. The third and current owner purchased the car in December 2018 and has maintained it consistently including services performed at Gerber Motorsport Inc. and Porsche Bellevue. Notable service items include new front and rear brake pads at 35,000 miles and a fuel system service, along with changing the fluids and cabin filters. A heat shield campaign service was performed, and a maintenance inspection completed in April 2022.

Today, with just 37,844 miles indicated, this Porsche Carrera presents in very nice condition with smooth and glossy white finish contrasting the Black interior. The paint is consistent and well-maintained with the noted rear work from a minor stoplight rear-end incident in 2018. The work was completed by one of the top paint shops in the area, and the work is factory correct throughout. The front bumper was also refinished previously for cosmetic freshening. The contrasting 20” Porsche Carrera wheels are in excellent condition with no curb rash, stealthy black finish and dark grey calipers poised over the disc brakes. All four Michelin Pilot Sport tires are dated 2019. Lighting, glass, and lenses are all in excellent condition throughout including the clean script lettering and Porsche branded features selectively detailing the car.

The interior is both handsome and highly optioned with premium power leather seats, excellent seating surfaces, beautifully stitched optional Porsche seat crests, and interior details throughout that show only nominal wear to the finishes. The center console housing the 7-speed PDK gear selection and other precision controls is handsomely arrayed with well laid out features, offering easy access and ergonomically favorable driving benefits both for gentle cruising or more active mountain road carving. The dashboard and assorted instrumentation properly illuminate, displaying key operational features and engine status at the touch of your fingertips. The Bose sound system is brilliant and dynamic offering premium sound befitting the spirit of this high-performance sports car. The carpets, beautifully sculpted door panels, and other interior surfaces are excellent throughout displaying only modest use consistent with the recorded 38,000 miles. The optional sliding roof is a welcome feature, offering open-air motoring with either tilt or slide functions, available at the flick of a switch, adding to the already exhilarating performance offered in this 911.

The engine compartment has been thoughtfully maintained and properly serviced per recommendations. Porsche factory components are all present and in excellent cosmetic condition, though largely concealed from view in this modern and highly efficient design. Inside the front storage area, ample room is available for cargo or small travel bags, again beautifully preserved in factory condition. The underside of the car, suspension and driveline castings are nicely maintained, clean, and free from any significant marks or notable damage, further confirming the low miles, indoor storage, and excellent care this car has received since new.

This Porsche is an absolute pleasure to drive. The balance and undisputed simplicity of the original 911 is refined after years of advancing technology, but the original characteristics are welcomingly evident. The PDK transmission is everything you would expect from Porsche, offering excellent shifting as a performance car or quietly cruising in daily traffic. Road manners can be docile or exhilarating, without compromising safety or comfort, delivering a confident driving experience even for moderately skilled drivers. Driving with the sunroof open, the overall ride is quiet, wind noise is minimal, and the Bose sound system can still be readily enjoyed. This Porsche Carrera is offered with a copy of the original window sticker and owner’s manual in the factory leather pouch.

Offering superb engineering, ground-breaking design, and the incomparable heritage of Porsche’s iconic 911, this beautiful Carrera delivers truly legendary performance in a delightfully engaging and enjoyable package.
