The Porsche 911 964 3.3 Turbo. Quite a mouthful, but nothing too much to say. Even at Porsche, they knew that the more letters there are behind the 911 designation, the more expensive the car. The Turbo was also marketed as: 'An expensive sportscar or a very reasonable racecar. And that is exactly what it is. A car with more race DNA than the average sporty driver, which also makes for a lot of exciting moments with the 'widowmaker'. With almost all its weight in the back, 320 Stuttgart horses, a terribly large turbo, and little help from systems, this is one for 'with two hands at the wheel'!

Is it that special, that Turbo? We can be fairly brief about that. Ab-so-luut! Compared to the 'normal' 964 911, the Turbo has a very thick butt, wide chest, lies a bit lower and has double pipes to get rid of all that forced compressed air. That's how Ferdinand came up with it, and from there they started to build the 'normal' 911. If you put the two next to each other, we compare it to a bra on the clothesline and Doutzen on the catwalk.

Ours comes from a fairly large Porsche collection and is in absolute new condition. The black Porsche leather is still matt, the paint is almost round for original, her radio is Porsche cultural heritage, all booklets are present and she has only 149 thousand kilometers of drivers left. Der Porsche 911 964 3.3 Turbo. Ein ganz schöner Mundvoll, aber nicht zu viel zu sagen. Sogar bei Porsche wussten sie, dass je mehr Buchstaben hinter der 911-Angabe standen, desto teurer das Auto. Der Turbo wurde auch vermarktet als: 'Ein teurer Sportwagen oder ein sehr preiswerter Rennwagen. Und genau das ist es auch. Ein Auto mit mehr Renn-DNA als der durchschnittliche sportliche Fahrer, was auch für viele spannende Momente mit dem "Witwenmacher" sorgt. Mit fast ihrem ganzen Gewicht auf dem Rücken, 320 Stuttgarter Pferden, einem schrecklich großen Turbo und wenig Hilfe durch Systeme ist dies eine für 'mit zwei Händen am Steuer'!

Ist er so besonders, dieser Turbo? Darüber können wir uns ziemlich kurz fassen. Ab-so-luut! Verglichen mit dem "normalen" 964 911 hat der Turbo einen sehr dicken Hintern, eine breite Brust, liegt etwas tiefer und hat Doppelrohre, um all die erzwungene Druckluft loszuwerden. So kam Ferdinand auf die Idee, und von dort aus begann man mit dem Bau des "normalen" 911. Wenn man die beiden nebeneinander legt, vergleichen wir das mit einem BH auf der Wäscheleine und Doutzen auf dem Laufsteg.

Unsere stammt aus einer ziemlich großen Porsche-Sammlung und befindet sich in absolut neuwertigem Zustand. Das schwarze Porsche-Leder ist immer noch matt, der Lack ist fast rund bis original, ihr Radio ist Porsche-Kulturerbe, alle Hefte sind vorhanden und sie hat nur noch 149 Tausend Kilometer Fahrer. Jetzt auf der Suche nach einem neuen liebevollen Wurf.
