History:
Launched in 1988, the 964 opened a new chapter in the history of the 911. Porsche announced that nearly 85% of its parts were new. It received a 3.6-liter flat-six, ABS and power steering. The Targa version combines a fixed roll bar with a removable roof panel. It allows open-air driving without giving up the lines of the 911.
This example was delivered new on 19/03/1991 by the Porsche dealer in Edison, New Jersey. It was first serviced within that network, then in France at Centre Porsche Saint-Germain.

Condition:
This Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Targa is in very good presentation condition and is true to its original specification. Its color configuration is rare on today’s market.

The bodywork is sound and free of corrosion, the paint is superb, well presented and free of defects (except on the front bumper). The black Targa roof is well presented, watertight and neat.

The cabin is neat. The beige leather of the seats, door panels and rear bench has not deteriorated and is in good condition. The sport seats have electric adjustment. The black dashboard is in good condition. The original labels are still present. The original tool kit comes with the car.

The 3.6-liter flat-six had its engine sealing work redone in 2024. The car will be sold serviced. The 5-speed manual gearbox works well. Road holding is sound and the car’s behavior is very good.
