RUF FINISH (RUF 17 ”WHEELS, RUF WHEEL AND RUF REAR VIEWERS). In 1989 the new generation of 911 arrived on the market. The 911 Carrera 4 of type 964 included 85 percent of new parts, but also largely retained the classical forms of its predecessors. Although its design coincided to a large extent, the 964 had a noticeably better aerodynamics than that of the G model. The rounded front and rear parts especially contributed as well as the automatic retractable rear spoiler. The 911 Carrera 4 was the first 911 with all-wheel drive. Its permanent all-wheel drive with electronic regulation normally directed 31% of the torque to the front axle and 69% to the rear. Depending on the situation, the distribution varied. In the center console of the C4 there was a traction switch. Its 3.6 l engine had a power of 250 hp. ONE OF THE MOST APPRECIATED MODELS TODAY AND WITH AN ANTIQUITY ALREADY 30 YEARS OLD MAY BE REGISTERED AS A HISTORICAL VEHICLE.
