Radicalement Sportive !
La Porsche 911 (964) Carrera RS, succède après presque 20 ans d'attente, à la légendaire Carrera RS 2,7 de 1973. Conçue pour le sport automobile "privé", elle se présente comme la nouvelle arme fatale des amateurs de sorties en club : tout ce qui est inutile est supprimé, tandis que le moteur et le châssis sont optimisés pour un usage résolument sportif...
Les puristes auront dû attendre une bonne vingtaine d'année pour que Porsche propose à nouveau une déclinaison radicalement sportive de la 911. Pour cela, en excluant les anecdotiques Carrera 3.0 RS de 1974, SC/RS de 1984 et 3.2L Clubsport de 1987, il aura fallu attendre la génération type 964 et un regain d'intérêt pour la 911, dont l'avenir semblait plus qu'incertain au milieu des années 80. Le développement de la Carrera RS initialement destiné à la "Carrera Cup" et à l'homologation dans la catégorie N/GT des championnats européens, ne semble pourtant pas, à priori, avoir nécessité un investissement colossal de l'usine. En effet, si l'on en parcourt rapidement la fiche technique, il s'agirait là en fait principalement d'une Carrera 2 dont on a scrupuleusement ôté tout équipement de confort... Mais en réalité, la différence est bien plus profonde puisqu'on est plutôt assez proche d'une 964 Cup !
La 964 que nous proposons aujourd'hui a été livrée neuve en Allemagne à Berlin en mai 1992 à M. Michael GABEL. Importée en France par First Automobile fin 1998, elle devient la propriété de M. SEBAG avec 9200 km au compteur. Elle sera vendue en 1999 à un collectionneur français M. CLEMENT avec 12400 km qui la cède ensuite à un marchand alors qu’elle n’avait que 15200 km. Entretenue par Gaston Racing, il en partage la propriété avec un de ses amis à qui il cède la pleine propriété à 25000 km en 2005. Elle est alors entretenue régulièrement par le concessionnaire Ferrari Maserati de Bayonne. C’est en 2015 affichant 66 300km qu’elle intègre la collection de RS de l’actuel propriétaire. Cette RS 92 a connu une vie paisible, a toujours été soignée, comme en témoignent son état général, ses accessoires d'usine et son dossier de factures et carnet. Après avoir vécue dans des régions au climat sec, et plus récemment dans un garage chauffé, l'état de la carrosserie est sans défaut !
Suivant les pas de la Carrera RS 2.7, la 964 RS est devenue une auto légendaire des années 90, et un must have dans toute bonne collection. Elle saura également contenter les plus sportifs grâce à des performances toujours d’actualité !

Purists had to wait a good twenty years for Porsche to offer again a radically sporty version of the 911. For that, excluding the Carrera 3.0 RS of 1974, SC/RS of 1984 and 3.2L Clubsport of 1987, we had to wait for the generation type 964 and a renewed interest for the 911, whose future seemed more than uncertain in the mid-80s. The development of the Carrera RS, initially intended for the "Carrera Cup" and for homologation in the N/GT category of European championships, does not seem to have required a colossal investment by the factory. In fact, if you look at the technical data sheet, it is mainly a Carrera 2 with all the comfort equipment scrupulously removed... But, the difference is much more profound since it is rather close to a 964 Cup!
The 964 we are offering today was delivered new in Germany in Berlin in May 1992 to Mr Michael GABEL. Imported in France by First Automobile at the end of 1998, it became the property of Mr. SEBAG with 9200 km on the odometer, then sold in 1999 to a French collector Mr. CLEMENT with 12400 km. He lately sold it to a dealer when it had only 15200 km. Maintained by Gaston Racing, he shares the property with one of his friend to whom he gives full ownership at 25000 km in 2005. It is then regularly maintained by the Ferrari Maserati dealer of Bayonne. In 2015, with 66 300 km, it is part of the RS collection of the current owner. This 92 RS has lived a peaceful life, has always been well maintained, as evidenced by its overall condition, factory accessories and its file of invoices and booklet. Having lived in dry climates, and more recently in a heated garage, the condition of the bodywork is impeccable!
In the tradition of the Carrera RS 2.7, the 964 RS has become a mythical car of the 90's, and a must have in any good collection. It will also satisfy the most sporty drivers thanks to its ever-present performance!
