Description

GENERAL

This beautiful 4-owner Porsche 964 Carrera RS was destined for the Dutch market, but bought by a Belgian owner from new, since there were no more RS’s available for the Belgium market when he signed the purchase order in 1993.
The original owner kept the car until 2006, when it was sold to the second Belgian owner. At this time, the car had only covered around 50.000 km.
The car’s second guardian had several special 911’s and only used this example sparingly. He drove it for around 9000 kms before selling it on to the third Belgian owner in 2011.
The car was bought by the current owner in 2016. Understanding the importance of this model, he barely used the 911 and it served mainly as a show piece inside his office. For this purpose, he repainted the car to a very high standard.
The car has a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche, confirming the factory specifications and numbers. It still retains it's original aluminium hood.
EXTERIOR

The Midnight Blue Metallic 37WF8 paintwork has been executed to a high standard and contains no visible stone chips.
The RS-wheels are in good condition without any curb damage. They are shodded with continental Sport Contact 2 tires.
The panel gaps are all very even and look nice.
The rear engine cover has the correct Carrera RS script fitted.
INTERIOR

The Black/Marine blue/NS leather is entirely original and in very clean condition. The seats are genuine original RS seats and not replicas.
We could detect little to no signs of use on the steering wheel, shift lever and other wear-prone areas.
These cars often suffer from deteriorating details on the instrument gauge faces, but we could detect none of this here. The odometer is displaying 63.311 kms.
The Carrera RS features unique door panels for weight saving purposes. Both the driver’s and passenger’s side are in good unmarked condition on this example.

ENGINE
The 3.6L flat-six has a factory output of 260hp at 6100rpm and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The engine number corresponds with the number on the COA certificate.
The engine starts right away and feels very lively. It is clear that this is more of a track-oriented engine compared to the one in a regular 964.
When cold, the idling is a little rough and the engine feels more aggressive, just as an RS engine should.
The car was bought by the current owner in 2016. Understanding the importance of this model, he barely used the 911 and it served mainly as a show piece inside his office. For this purpose, he repainted the car to a very high standard.
BODY

The undercarriage of the car looks clean.
Suspension, brakes, wheels and tires are all very tidy. Based on the visual condition of the underside of the car, we conclude that great care was taken by all four owners.
PAPER TRAIL

The car comes with Belgian documents, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, service history and the original file with manuals and booklets.
This 964 has the following option codes: 220 = LSD Limited Slip Differential 384 = Leather Bucket Seats left and right 404 = 17” Cup Magnesium Wheels 7.5+9” 488 = Stickers in German Z101/1 = Bridgestone Tires
